DATA PROTECTION POLICY

This policy outlines how we process any personal data provided to us during the course of our professional relationship. If you do not agree to the terms of this policy please do not submit any personal data to us.

We ensure that any data we hold is processed fairly and lawfully with due care and attention. We take our responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998 very seriously.

We collect personal data to facilitate the recruitment process or in connection to your working with us. This might include:

  • Any information contained in your CV, application forms or references.
  • Details on terms of engagement, payroll, tax and national insurance
  • Health records and absence monitoring record
  • Training records Contact names, numbers and addresses
  • Any correspondence between you and the company 


Any data that we hold will only be accessed by our staff and any prospective employers or clients for the uses outlined above. We will also disclose data if we believe in good faith that we are required to by law.

In the event that we transfer any of your personal data outside of the EU we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue unaltered.

We will retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above and to comply with any statutory or contractual obligations. We will use reasonable measures to ensure that this data is correct and up to date however it is the individual’s duty to inform us of any changes.

To find out what information is held by the company or to request a copy you should apply in writing to The Data Controller, Imperial Workforce, Imperial Centre, Grange Road, Darlington, DL1 5NQ. A charge of £10 may be made for any such requests. The company will respond with in 40 days.

After an appropriate amount of time or if we have not corresponded with you for a reasonable period we will archive or delete your information. After an appropriate period we may ask if you wish for your personal data to be maintained in our records.

Any electronic data held by us is kept on secure servers. Due to the nature of the internet we can not guarantee that any information that you transmit to us via the internet is secure.

We reserve the right to transfer any information to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or most of the company assets, providing that the third party agrees to the terms of this policy. In the event of such a transfer we will make reasonable attempts to let you opt out.

Any changes to this policy will be posted on our website, if any substantial changes are made which may effect the security or use of your data we will contact you and inform you, giving you the opportunity to have your data removed from the companies files.

We will not send you unsolicited commercial publications or contact you for marketing proposes, however we may contact you with regards to recruitment, working with us or as required under any legal or contractual obligations.
