Overview:
Reporting directly to the Technical Supervisor, the role requires a hardworking Maintenance Technician who can work well under pressure and to all deadlines, quality and safety standards.
DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Responsible for Inspecting, testing and maintaining all electrical, mechanical and robotic equipment.
- Responsible for the installation, calibration and maintenance of company equipment.
- To ensure full reactive and planned maintenance of electrical, mechanical and robotic equipment is complete and in a timely manner.
- To fully support installation and improvement projects.
- To make recommendations regarding potential improvements to techniques, methods, processes/procedures, equipment and safety.
- Fault diagnosis and rectification of plant equipment.
- Oversee introduction of all new plant equipment.
- Attend design reviews, 8D, OEE and production meetings as required.
- Adhering to 5s in all aspects of the role.
- To represent the Company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- To adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
- To adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- Work to IATF standards and procedures.
- Ensure all reporting and documentation is complete within time.
- Communicate with all departments to meet objectives and reduce downtime.
- Available to support overtime.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by your line Manager
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:
- ONC/HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of IATF 16949: 2016
- Proven track record, ideally in a fast-paced Automotive manufacturing environment
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels, internally and externally
- A good team player
- Ability to support the management team
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to use IT programs – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Flexibility to cover shift patterns and overtime
